The B2B Founder's AI Stack Should Start With One Workflow

The wrong AI stack starts with tools. The useful one starts with a recurring workflow that already costs time, money, or judgment.

A lot of AI adoption starts with a shopping list. New assistant, new note taker, new research tool, new automation platform. I think that is backwards. Pick one workflow that already happens every week: pipeline review, account research, meeting prep, deliverability checks, proposal follow-up. Then rebuild that workflow around machine assistance and human judgment. The stack should emerge from the work. Otherwise the team becomes busy integrating tools before it has decided what should actually change.

Where this fits

This piece belongs in the AI agents for operators cluster because it starts AI adoption from one owned workflow instead of a random tool basket.
