The quick answer
Track deliverability like a growth system, not an IT checklist. The weekly view should include inbox placement by provider, bounce rate, complaint rate, positive replies, domain health, ramp volume, and sequence-level conversion.
The benchmark stack
Start with five numbers: inbox placement above 80 percent, bounce rate below 2 percent, complaint rate below 0.1 percent, positive reply rate by segment, and send volume growth that does not outrun reply quality. These are not universal laws, but they force the right conversation.
Segment before judging
A founder sending to CFOs in manufacturing and a team sending to growth leaders in SaaS should not read the same benchmark the same way. Segment by ICP, mailbox provider, domain age, offer, and data source before blaming copy.
What breaks first
The first warning is usually not spam placement. It is a subtle drop in replies from one provider, one geography, or one list source. Weekly review catches that while it is still fixable.
